We get it. Whether the reason is cost, general anxiety, or both, going to the dentist isn’t exactly on the top of everyone’s Favourite-Things-To-Do list. As a group of highly accomplished dentists who really care about people, we wanted to do something to change all that. By coming together as a team to make dentistry more accessible, and more comfortable for all.
We started by committing to the notion of being anything but your typical dental office. Using technology, we empower you to easily access care, giving you greater control over your treatments, schedules, and budgets. Patient care is number one with us, so you’ll also notice that we’ll go out of our way to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Sure, we may not be a spa, but we want you to like coming here.
Meet the team
Dr. Bob Vavaroutsos
Hi there, I’m Dr. Bob Vavaroutsos, but you can call me Dr. Bob. After graduating from the University of Toronto in 1987, I went south, getting my Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1991 at the State University of New York at Buffalo. (Go Bills!)
I then completed a hospital internship at the Nassau County Medical Center in Long Island, New York, where I treated many medically compromised patients in need of dental therapy.
I became interested in children’s care, sports dentistry, and orthodontics and completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in general dentistry and orthodontics. I guess you could say I love creating happy smiles from a broad range of patients.
For several years, I was a teaching instructor at the University of Toronto in the Oral Medicine Department. I’m currently a member of the Ontario Dental Association, American Dental Association, the International Orthodontic Association, and the American Association of Functional Orthodontics. When I’m not busy adding Associations to my list, I love to play hockey, go boating up North, and hang out with my son.
Dr. Karim ElMofty
Hello, I’m Dr. Karim ElMofty, a general dentist with a Master's degree in Dental Public Health, and advanced training in pediatric dental care. I’ve been practicing for over 10 years and have successfully passed both the Canadian and American Dental Board Exams. (It was so nice, I did it twice!)
My greatest passion is preventive dental care for people of all ages. Helping people understand how to lead healthier lives by taking care of their teeth and gums is important to me. I even started an international company called "KnowDental", that focuses on oral health education and training for children.
Outside my work interests, I’m fluent in French, an amateur fisherman, a runner, and I love hanging out with my two kids. If you’re up for it, I’m happy to talk about any of those things while you say “mmm-hmm” in my chair.
Dr. Sara Elhelw
Hi, I’m Dr. Sara Elhelw, I am a General dentist with a Master’s degree in Restorative & Esthetic dentistry and have been practicing dentistry for over 5 years. I’m very passionate about my work and I’m always eager to learn new techniques and keep up-to-date with the latest technologies. You might say it’s my bedtime reading.
My number one goal is to make patients feel comfortable because I strongly believe going to the dentist should be fun, not scary. I dream of the day when patients stop telling us how much they hate dentists!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my 3 daughters. I also love cooking, traveling and reading. I hope to meet you at the clinic and get to know about you as well.
Dr. Maria Cespedes
My name is Dr. Maria Cespedes. I’m an international trained dentist graduated from Universidad Santo Tomas, Colombia and successfully completed the Canadian National Dental Examining Board process. I practiced dentistry for a few years in Colombia and then driven by the passion to continue learning, I made the decision to move to Canada.
I’m fluent in both English and Spanish which makes me excited to help communicate with patients with a language barrier. My experiences have helped me refine my skills and develop a comprehensive approach to dental care. Committed to patient well-being, passionate about lifelong learning, and embracing my cultural diversity, I strive to provide exceptional dental services and promote lasting oral health in a welcoming environment. As a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario I remain at the forefront of advancements in dentistry.
Beyond my endeavors as a dentist, I like to spend quality time with my family and my dog, MILO, a 6 years old Golden Retriever, go for hiking together and explore different parks and beaches around the GTA. Looking forward to meeting you all at the clinic.
Dr. Mudar Azzam
My name is Dr. Mudar Azzam. I’ve had the pleasure of practicing dentistry for several years in Chicago and Detroit, and I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy. These experiences have helped me refine my skills and develop a well-rounded approach to dental care.
Dentistry isn’t just my profession—it’s my passion. I’m committed to providing top-notch care in every aspect of dentistry, from routine check-ups and cleanings to more complex procedures. My goal is to make every visit positive and comfortable, ensuring that you feel at ease. I believe in clear communication, gentle techniques, and personalized care plans that meet your unique needs.
